It is with the greatest of heartache that I let all our Deviant art friends know I have lost my treasured "so mon carra" Trev.
He passed from this world 23rd September,in my arms but totally out of nowhere ..a loss which is almost to sudden to soon to take in,
Thankyou for all the kind comments on his and mine piccys but to Trev they meant so much when doing battle with his tremor and Parkinsons.
Blessings to you all

Having renewed my Premium Membership on line yesterday for a year.

I have been bombarded by text and messages on my laptop screen telling me I am not??

Yes I am have checked via my on line account and payment has been made.

This is only a small grump in the scheme of worldwide things but yet again I question why I belong to D/A? They started off as a small group of likeminded souls who seem to have grown into a huge community[all good]but with a corporate type mentality of people in charge[jury is still out but erring on the whoops not a good idea]who do not really listen to their members just pay them lip service.

Rant over time to see if we can make it to the great outdoors today with crutched and three mad dogs now that's a real challenge...lol....;].

Happy devianting.

I've gotten a note about a website called Bizspeaking, where they want you to upload your art. But be warned, this is in their "Terms of Use":

"Terms of Use"

Just a heads up if you got this note too.

We were lucky enough to spend Christmas on the Isle of Skye,it was our treat to ourselves but Trevs two boys came as well,a rest for his Parkinsons, what a treat that Island is,the people are without doubt some of the best you will ever meet.the scenery stunning,we did not get to much of a chance to see the Northern lights as it snowed, galed and rained but on Christmas day I was taking a few shots of the sun going down over the eloch above which our cottage sat,and then realised there were many different colours in it,the lady at the craft shop explained you may not see the wisps of light which we all think of as the Northern lights, but this time of the year as dark decend's so quickly they become very intense behind a sunset if you get a clear day,we sat in the sunroom and watched a force 9 gale whistle thru the loch, then as sunrose it was as calm as calm,we ran out of diesel first night getting onto the Island anf two brothers first pulled up and offered to get us some and took off, then the local snowplough/gritter driver was out gritting and he stopped and came back with diesel so I could get us to our cottage, along with the young lads who also came back to help total strangers,so a big thumbs up to Skye,Dunvegan and all its folks you have a wonderful community, loved the lack of internet,a phone box is all you need, makes you think, maybe thats why there is such a sense of community!and such wonderful artists, thankyou Skye and if I ever win the lottery a house up in the North I would look for,the best bit was to see an Eagle flying free thru the loch free  as is should be......Nin..x
